Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Virginia Beach, VA)

Westbrook Foods Group is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and allergen controls. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
