Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Summit Nest Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
