Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Thistle Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
