Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (San Jose, CA)

Foxglove Thistle Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in San Jose. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and production lots. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
