Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Vista Medical Partners is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and production lots. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
