Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (San Jose, CA)

Ironwood Orchard Farms Associates supplies farm and food customers across the San Jose region, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
