Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (San Jose, CA)

Greenridge Glen Foods Group is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and allergen controls. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
