Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Pine Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
