Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (San Jose, CA)

Clearpath Summit Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its San Jose plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 51 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and work orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
