Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Salt Lake City, UT)

Bluepeak Vale Manufacturing is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and work orders. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
