Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge North Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
