Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Sparrow Farms is an agricultural business based around Richmond, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and grower contracts. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
