Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Bright Birch Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
