Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Ironwood Cobalt Medical Group is a Detroit company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and training materials. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with training materials. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
