Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Press produces print and digital publications in Kansas City, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and press runs. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
