Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Summit Wren Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Birmingham. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and harvest schedules. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
