Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Bluepeak Rook Press is a printer and publisher in Virginia Beach serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and print quotes. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
