Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Lumen Field Press produces print and digital publications in San Diego, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
