Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Silverline Thistle Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Reno plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
