Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Foxglove Ivory Foods produces packaged foods at its San Diego plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and allergen controls. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
