Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Lumen Meadow Press Group is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and proofing. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
