Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Clearpath Ember Press produces print and digital publications in Charlotte, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
