Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Bright Summit Medical designs and makes medical devices in Birmingham, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and complaint handling. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with complaint handling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
