Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Bluepeak Vista Press produces print and digital publications in San Jose, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of about 779 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and print quotes. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
