Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Summit Granite Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
