Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Silverline Field Press is a printer and publisher in Wichita serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and print quotes. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
