Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Cedar Harbor Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Louisville region, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
