Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (remote)

Fernwood Vale Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Indianapolis plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and tooling. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
