Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Portland, OR)

Summit Yarrow Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Portland, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and cold storage. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
