Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Pittsburgh, PA)

Summit Maple Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for paper stock, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
