Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Birch Foods produces packaged foods at its New Orleans plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and ingredient orders. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
