Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (New Orleans, LA)

Lumen River Manufacturing is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 394 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and machine downtime. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
