Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Mill Foods is a Milwaukee food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and ingredient orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
