Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Miami, FL)

Northwind Ashton Foods is a Miami food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and sanitation schedules. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
