Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Louisville, KY)

Northwind Timber Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
