Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Las Vegas, NV)

Ironwood Vista Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Las Vegas plant. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and press runs. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Las Vegas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
