Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Knoxville, TN)

Bluepeak Ember Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
