Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Houston, TX)

Lumen Ashton Foods is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and ingredient orders. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
