Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Honolulu, HI)

Bright Meadow Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Honolulu plant, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
