Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Honolulu, HI)

Westbrook Vale Press is a printer and publisher in Honolulu serving local and national clients, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 107 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and paper stock. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
