Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Hartford, CT)

Bluepeak Bridge Farms is an agricultural business based around Hartford. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and grower contracts. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
