Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Hartford, CT)

Summit Granite Press Group produces print and digital publications in Hartford. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
