Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Detroit, MI)

Greenridge Wilder Medical is a Detroit company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and device records. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
