Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Auto Group is a Des Moines company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and parts orders. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
