Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Rook Press and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. What we are looking for • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
