Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Columbus, OH)

Harborlight River Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Columbus. We are hiring a Production Supervisor to take on scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and production lots. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
