Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Vale Manufacturing Group and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
