Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Summit River Manufacturing and adding a Production Supervisor whose main responsibility will be scheduling and staffing. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. • Report daily on output, downtime and production lines. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Comfort with production metrics. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
