Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Columbus, OH)

Silverline Maple Press is looking for a Production Supervisor. The job centres on scheduling and staffing for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 413 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Report daily on output, downtime and customer orders. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Firm, fair and calm. • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or Six Sigma training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
