Production Supervisor - scheduling and staffing (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Bright Press is a printer and publisher in Charleston serving local and national clients, and we need a Production Supervisor to lead our scheduling and staffing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report daily on output, downtime and bindery work. • Work with maintenance and planning to reduce delays. • Keep safety, hygiene and quality standards visible and followed. • Run a shift, assign work and keep production on plan. • Coach and train team members and handle attendance. What we are looking for • Comfort with production metrics. • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role. • Firm, fair and calm. Nice to have • Lean or Six Sigma training. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
